I got (almost) all of my Blogger posts imported yesterday. Some of the very old ones wouldn’t export/import for some reason, but I’m not too worried about that. I’ll be republishing my old blog to a different address, just to be safe, but intend on fully using this Expression Engine for now.

Another unfortunate consequence of the process is the fact that I wasn’t able to export/import any comments. That’s another reason for keeping the Blogger posts around.

I also have to find a template that I like.

It's located here.

I use a free webhost. The only cost is to register my domain name. It's very limited, feature-wise. But it's free.

For the last day or so, it's been down for "configuration". They never warned me they were going to do this "configuration" or even let me know what it entails. I've already found a better host, and will be changing over by the end of April when I have to renew my domain name.

I submitted a request to their service department. They say they will check into it during the next 24 hours and get back to me. I suppose I can't complain too much, as I'm getting what I'm paying for, so to speak.
